We want licensing to be simple and predictable, so here's exactly how it works.

The free version

Install That’s Done without a licence and every feature works, for up to 10 comments per site. Pins and drawings count towards the 10; replies don't. It's enough to run a real review with a client and see whether it suits the way you work.

When you buy a licence, paste the key into That’s Done → Settings → Licence on the same installation. There's nothing to reinstall.

How sites are counted

Plan Live sites
Solo 1
Studio 5
Agency Unlimited

Staging and local sites are free: addresses like localhost, .local and .test, subdomains starting with staging. or dev., and common hosts' staging addresses. A site with and without www. counts once.

Your licence page lists every site using your licence. When a project ends, free up its site and use the place for the next one.

When a licence runs out

We email you 30 and 7 days before your licence ends, and on the day. If it does run out, review mode pauses on your sites: clients see a short note asking them to contact you, and new feedback and sign-offs are on hold. Nothing is deleted, and your team can still read all the feedback and download reports.

Renew and everything switches back on, usually within minutes. Renewing early adds a year to your current end date, so you never lose time by renewing ahead.
